How are Ya?

Hi, haven't posted in a couple of days. Just thought I'd check in. How is everyone?

I know with the economy the way it is money is tight for fellow Avon Reps and alot of the customers out there.
My brochure drop off last week was interesting! I recieved a New Customer, which was fantastic. This customer strictly ordered via e-mail. For future notice to other Avon Rep's, I do not recomend e-mail orders. I learned that lesson hard way! Cancelled a substantial order - no explanation, Via E-Mail. Nice.
Anyway who....the ball will keep rolling.

I am looking forward to spring and all that Avon has to offer in Brochure Number 5.

Talk to you later,
Kim

I wanted to get the brochures out there as soon as possible cause Campaign 4 is over on February 15 which is tomorrow!!! I was hoping to target some new streets that haven't seen brochures in a while (other than my brochures and notice letters).

Welcome to all new Customers and Happy Valentines Day!

Still Love Glazewear

O.K I want to talk a little about some of my favorite products.
I love Glazewear. Now I've sold Avon a few times over the years. I usually stopped in between pregnancies, looking back I didn't have to stop I could have just slowed right down, Oh well.
So I remember when my oldest daughter, who is now 5 was a baby, I got hooked on Glazewear. (That's how I remember timelines nowadays it's how old was each child during this or that.) I bought a few travel sized glazewear lipsticks, I believe the brand was new to Avon, so I wanted to try them out. I loved them. Although I chose to try out a few of the browns, which for me weren't the greatest colors but the pinkish tones were great and I am a fan of lipgloss, cause it is usually more moisturising than lipstick.
Now, I'm noticing the Glazewear in the latest brochure - Campaign 4. The mini sizes are back! For 99 Cents! Yay! Cause I know in today's economy everybody is pinching pennies. I also noticed the Glazewear eyeshadow is back in this Campaign, I never did try out the Turquoise Dream shadow that I wanted at Christmas time so maybe this time, the price is great at $4.99 for the full sized eyeshadow. I love it!
Anyway, as per request from my Aunt I've been meaning to talk about Chefables, I will in my next post, although I have to warn you I haven't tried chefables myself - yet.
So Many Products.............
talk to you later.

Strep Throat.

Well, I was right! I was at the hospital last night, cause there were no walk in clinics open, when I was able to get out. I sat there for 4.5 hours to find out yes, I have strep throat. The Doctor gave me some medication and it seems to be getting better already.
I thought maybe it was tonsilities - when the doctor asked me "have you had your tosilis out?" I thought, - can't you see them? I thought they were in plain sight. Anyway, I should be fine in a couple of days.
Now , I have to set up an account with Avon, so they get paid!!

Brochures for Campaign 4

Most of my brochures for campaign 4 have been distributed, hopefully some new customers give me a call. I want to make a correction about what I had said in a previous post about the Valentines brochure (Campaign 3) I mentioned it had a couple of pages of bras. The Canadian brochure didn't, I found an online brochure that I leafed through and I realized later it was an American brochure. They seem to be a little different. Although I do remember someone telling me years ago that Avon caters to each Country a little different. That's interesting.......
I think I have a case of Strep Throat... OUch. I guess I can't yell at the kids today. Ha Ha.

I look forward to Campaign 4.

Order has been sent

Well the order has been sent into Avon and I can't wait to get it. It'll be my first official order as an Avon rep, this time around. I have been a rep twice before and an Avon "helper" once before. So, I have an idea how this all works but it's been about 4 and a half years since I've been an official rep putting in my own orders and about 2 years since I was a "Helper" having someone else put in my orders and me receiving the commissions. I wasn't sure about becoming a " Helper" but thought that it would work for me while I was pregnant with my third. I had a lot of fun with it and my youngest two would help deliver brochures around the neighbourhood that late winter and early spring. I remember being pregnant and wobbling down the street handing out the brochures. All my kids were around the 10lb mark when they were born and I am petite so it was nuts wobbling all over town! I had bought a pair of drawstring pants from Avon, they were linen maybe you remember them from the brochure? I bought them in a larger size so they would fit around my 52" belly. They kept sliding down though!!! I needed suspenders but had too much pride to buy them! There were no maternity pants that fit properly. The early stages of pregnancy the retail stores would tell me if you are an extra small normally you are an extra small during pregnancy. Boy, were they wrong. I was a weeble wobble size! No hips, no but - and a HUGE belly! Almost like Kate's belly from, John and Kate plus 8, or at least like Kim and Kelly plus triplets but it was always just one massive baby. I wish I could have the free tummy tuck!!!
Well, we won't be having any more kids so I won't have to worry about wobbling around town any more.
I went off on a tangent - it's all good.

So, I watched The Super Bowl like most people, especially in the U.S. It was a great ending. I know very little about football but watch maybe once a year. I'm glad I caught this years. And that's all I have to say about that. Maybe I'll post a pregnancy picture or two.
talk to you later.
