Stella and Dot Comment

Hi, I noticed someone left a comment about Stella and Dot.-probably on my 2008 post.  You can find it by clicking on the 2008 link to find all my posts in that year.  I received a notice on my blackberry about their comment so I haven't investigated further about which post they had left a comment on.
Anyway, I thought I'd mention this comment here because I have read alot of people's comments good and bad about Stella and Dot.  It seems like their customer service isn't always up to snuff.  The quality also is not what everyone expects.  Hmmm what to do?!  I guess keep in close contact with your Stella and Dot Rep and if there is a problem with your product pass the issue on to her.  What do you think?
I better get going.  It is my eldest daughter's Birthday today.  While the girls are in school I must go get a few decorations and finish wrapping her presents.  I guess squeekies, zoobles, and zhu zhu pets are all the rage for 7 year olds this year.  Oh and also what exactly is the penguin fad about what are those things called again?- puffles?

Book in the making....

Hi again,

I will probably visiting my Blog more often for the next little while because I like to procrastinate before I do any real work.  I am attempting to write a book based on "true events".  My husband and I have a real interesting story when it comes to the conception of our last child who was born almost 8 weeks ago.  You see, my husband had a vasectomy almost 3 years ago - after the birth of our third child.  He took all the precautions and had himself tested 3 months post op.  That test came back negative - meaning there was no sperm found in the semen analysis.  When I became pregnant my husband thought well, I should have my vasectomy re-done.  So, we investigated how we would do that.  My husband called the Urologists office and spoke to the secretary there.  He told her our story and she told him that because his test had come back negative and that because the surgeon performs such great operations the child is not his because he is sterile.  Well, my husband and I were both shocked that she could have said such a thing.  We are pursuing legal action mainly because of what stress that statement caused our family during my pregnancy.  We have since done a DNA test (how awful) and of course that came back showing that indeed my husband is the father.
Well, this whole ordeal has prompted an idea to write a novel about our experiences.  Should be fun writing that.
Oh, and just recently we found out that someone my husband works with went through the same thing with the same surgeon and his secretary......we may be on to something here.  I know the statute of limitations is two years from the moment the women finds out she is pregnant so I wonder what is the motive of that office when something goes array?!

Well back to my main subject.  Sorry about going off topic on this blog I just don't have an interest in having more than one blog to talk about different subjects so, I guess I will do it all here.

I currently do not have an Avon Representative.  I guess mine quit the biz.  She lives on my street but I've never met her.  Her mother in-law always used to stop by and give me the brochures because she walked around the neighborhood all the time a couple times a day!  I haven't seen her in a few weeks and I haven't gotten a brochure from her in a while.

Bead Party!

Well, I had a long fulfilled day.  Took my two boys out.  The newborn is great! He loves outings and he is still in that newborn stupor - sleep, sleep, sleep. Nice.
So, we went to speech therapy and that went great.  After that I thought I might as well try and fit in one more errand and phew - I did it with no little boy melt downs.
We went to a new bead store in town.  My eldest daughter will be seven in a few days and I've been preparing for her birthday.  We have decided to hold the party in March so, I have a week or two to get it all set up.  I was able to score a jar of beads for $20.  It is probably about a 10 ounce jar.  I think in terms of baby food and baby bottles.  It looks like about 10 ounces.  Anyway, I thought we could re-create some Stella and Dot looks for less.  You never know it may turn into a family hobby!  Looking forward to it!

New Baby!

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I last posted.  Wanted to share a personal story.  We welcomed a new baby boy to our family January 1, 2011.  He was the first baby born in our city. Very exciting- the Mayor even came to the house for a visit!  His name is Owen! nick name - oh-one! I guess his lucky number is 1.

I have been very excited about some of the new products I have been testing.  One being Revlon quad eye-shadow.  I have the creme eyeshadow set in Va Va Va Bloom.  I have been applying it with my fingers or using Que tips.  I really need to get myself some more make-up brushes!

I'll  share some more soon.  I have to get going to baby number three's speech therapy class.  Fee you Waiter.
