Hi, I just changed the Title of the Blog from Avon Reviews. I decided to take the blog in a slightly new direction and see what happens. I found it hard to still journal here while the Title was Avon Reviews. I guess I restricted myself. So, now we will see what the future holds with my blog.
On another note, I gotta say, sales is absolutly an amazing topic. I'm finding/learning it is almost solely about Networking! I have allways really focused on the product, I mean to a degree of insanity. What does the product do? What is the cost? Who makes it? Where is it made? Is it a fad? I'm am now realizing sales is really about trust between the sales person and the customer. I swear, the product comes second. I love analyzing this stuff.
After being in the Real Estate business; practically going through the "motions" the same way I did in other sales avenues that I have pursued - I'm really seeing a pattern. I think all the cliches about sales like "It's a people business" "write a list of 20, 30 etc people you know" "Network" I think I'm finaly understanding all that it takes to become a great salesperson. I'm not saying I am(great salesperson) but I'm learning the phycology of it.
